ST. LOUIS -- For the first time since 2008, the Cubs can clinch the NL Central division title this week. The Cardinals know it is going to happen -- they just dont want them to do it during the series in St. Louis. To prevent that from happening, all the Cardinals have to do is win one of three games in the series that begins Monday night. A sweep by the Cubs would have them spraying champagne at Busch Stadium on Wednesday. The Cubs arrive in town with a magic number of five after the Cardinals 2-1 loss to the Brewers on Sunday and their 9-5 win Sunday night in Houston. You never want anyone celebrating on your home field, even if they are not division rivals or anything, said Cardinals pitcher Lance Lynn, who has not pitched this year after undergoing Tommy John surgery. You dont want anybody to clinch here. Thats definitely something you dont want to see.In recent years, the Cardinals have been the ones doing the celebrating. They have been to the postseason five consecutive years, and as the season winds down, know they will have to qualify as a wild-card team if they are going to extend that streak to six years. The loss to the Brewers, which came on a ninth-inning home run by Ryan Braun off Kevin Siegrist, dropped the Cardinals a half game out of the second wild-card spot because of the Mets 10-3 win over the Braves.Mike Leake will get the starting assignment for Monday nights game, which begins a stretch that will see the Cardinals play the Cubs and the Giants, who currently are in the first wild-card spot, in 10 of their next 13 games.Kyle Hendricks, who leads the NL with a 2.07 ERA, will start for the Cubs.Facing Hendricks will present the newest challenge for the Cardinals, who did not hit a home run on Saturday or Sunday, the first time they have gone two consecutive games without hitting a homer since Aug. 7-8. They lead the NL with 204 homers.Weve got to figure out how to score more runs, said manager Mike Matheny. We squared up two balls that almost all year have been gone. The ball wasnt jumping.Playing, and winning, at home has been a problem for the Cardinals this season. Their loss Sunday was the 39th at home, the most since they moved into the current Busch Stadium in 2006. They have 10 games left at home in the regular season.Last year, it was the Cardinals who won the division title, then saw their season end when they lost to the wild-card Cubs in the Division Series. The Cubs just want to win the division, then worry about the playoffs later. Were probably anxious to clinch as soon as possible, catcher Miguel Montero told the Chicago Sun-Times. That gives you the extra excitement to just try to do too much, to try to win games and get the lead even bigger, and clinch, on this road trip. Bob Pollard Jersey . Fellow centre Pavel Datsyuk remains out because of a concussion. Zetterberg has 11 goals and 19 assists for a team-high 30 points, and Datsyuk has a team-high 12 goals and 11 assists. Chauncey Gardner-Johnson Jersey . Here are his mid-season NBA awards. MVP: (KEVIN DURANT-Thunder) - Has been sensational this season and more importantly, the most consistent player in the league. Considering that his team has been without star guard Russell Westbrook and with the free agent departure of sharpshooter Kevin Martin, hes had to carry the majority of the load to not only keep his team afloat but more importantly, at an elite level. http://www.customsaintsjersey.com/custom-thomas-morstead-jersey-large-2832e.html .C. -- Manny Malhotra had two goals and an assist, leading the Carolina Hurricanes to a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Willie Roaf Jersey . Mickelson barely made the cut but had the best round of the day with nine birdies and an eagle coupled with two bogeys to sit two shots behind leader Craig Lee of Scotland. Lee shot a 69 for a 12-under 204 total. "I just love the fact I am in contention and have an opportunity in my first tournament of the year here in Abu Dhabi," Mickelson said. Dave Waymer Jersey . The native of Mont-Tremblant, Que., captured a World Cup downhill event Saturday, his second this year and fifth career victory on the circuit.Hearts owner Ann Budge has promised to pay £300,000 of her own money towards the new stand at Tynecastle. The Edinburgh businesswoman has also offered to defer repayment of her £2.5m loan to allow the Foundation of Hearts supporters group to contribute more cash to the project. It has been estimated the main stand will cost around £11m, with contributions of £2.5m coming from unnamed benefactors. Budge has unveiled a detailed payment plan, including a debenture scheme, and will also use funds already in the clubs account.Work on the 7,000-capacity stand is due to begin this autumn, and when completed will raise the capacity at the ground to more than 20,000.In a statement on the official Hearts website, Budge provided detail on how she hopes to finance the rebuild. Our estimates of cost are circa £11m, Budge said. Allowing for some contingency (10%), we are working to a budget of £12m. Hearts owner Ann Budge has also offered to defer repayment of a £2.5m loan Our funding plan is, in summary, as follows: Financial Reserves from the club: £3m; Benefactor Contributions £2.5m; Commercial Contributions: £0.5m; Total available today: £6mClearly, this leaves a potential funding gap of up to £6m. However, I would ask you all to remember this. Over the last two years, with the support of the fans and with sound financial management, we have built up a financial reserve of £3m. There is nothing to stop us doing the same again, over the next two years, with your continued support. What does this mean? Unashamedly, I am asking you to keep doing what you have been doing. We need season ticket holders to sign up again in their numbers. We need ccorporate members and sponsors to continue to back the club across the season.dddddddddddd We need FOH pledgers to keep pledging. In short, we need to continue to work together, the club, the Foundation of Hearts, and the supporter to deliver this project. By doing nothing more than has been done over the last two years, the club can once again build up £3m of reserves. While that will be a wonderful achievement, it would still leave a £3million gap. So, what else are we planning to do?We will shortly be announcing details of a debenture scheme - which we are confident will be a great success. We have also been asked by many fans to consider a number of other ideas in relation to the new stand development. More information will be provided on these schemes over the next few months. The other major initiative revolves around the FOH/BIDCO agreement. According to that agreement, repayment to BIDCO should start on 1st June 2016.I have made an offer to the FOH Board that they can defer repaying the BIDCO loan for a period of up to two years, and that all donations made during that period, should continue to be paid to the club. This money would be allocated to the new main stand project. At current levels of contribution (£125,000 per month), this would generate £3m. Finally, I have also offered to waive all interest payments due to BIDCO, during the period of up to two years when this deferral is in operation. This would effectively be my personal contribution of £300,000 to the main stand fund. Also See: Scottish Premiership video Fixtures Table Live on Sky Get Sky Sports ' ' '
