BOSTON -- One week after jamming his right shoulder while diving into second base as a pinch runner, pitcher Steven Wright was placed on the 15-day disabled list, the Boston Red Sox announced Sunday.Wright missed a start last week but had said he was 50-50 to make his next one, scheduled for Thursday night in Detroit, depending on the outcome of a bullpen session Monday. But with the inflammation in Wrights shoulder not subsiding as quickly as he hoped, the team decided to shut him down for a few days.
