The Professional Cricketers Association is urging English players to stay away from the 2016 Bangladesh Premier League on security grounds. Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara, Nottinghamshires Samit Patel, Sussex fast bowler Tymal Mills, Notts batsman Rikki Wessels and Northants pair Josh Cobb and Richard Gleeson are the England-qualified players in line to play in the BPL.PCA chief executive David Leatherdale says that, in the absence of any details on security measures to be put in place for the tournament starting early next month, he is advising members to stay at home.
