ROME -- Frenchman Rudi Garcia has been hired to coach Roma, becoming the capital clubs fourth different manager in two years since coming under American ownership. Roma made the announcement Wednesday, saying that Garcia has agreed to a two-year-deal which will be deposited with Serie A over the next few days. Roma president and Boston Celtics minority owner James Pallotta said Garcia "has proven to be a winner and he has a great vision of football and we believe he comes in line perfectly with our plans for the future." Garcia has coached Lille for the past five seasons. In 2010-11, he led the team to the French league and Cup double, earning domestic manager of the year honours.
